Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group reopened the iconic Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid. The highly anticipated opening came after the most ambitious and extensive 3-year restoration in the 110-year history of the iconic property.
The hotel also seems to be a candidate for being one of Spain’s most innovative venues with its five-meal concept managed by three Michelin-starred chef Quique Dacosta. Among the food concepts, Deessa has a menu consisting of locally sourced products; Palm Court, which offers a classic yet modern menu under a magnificent central glass canopy; Champagne Bar offering guests special matchings; Pictura with its avant-garde cocktail menu and El Jardín del Ritz, Madrid’s most popular outdoor environment.
The interiors of the hotel, where Spanish architect Rafael de La-Hoz was effective in the historical restoration, were designed by French designers Gilles & Boissier. Each room of the hotel, which includes 53 suites, has been designed in a luxurious, contemporary, and stylish way.
