The number of open restaurants in Northern Europe dropped from 74% to 18%, creating an alarming picture. The number of open restaurants in Southern Europe has changed less, from 66% to 40%.

While there has been a slight decline in America, Asian restaurants, 96% of which are open, remain steady.
