Willem Hiele, chef of restaurant Willem Hiele, one of the Belgium’s top talents has decided not to reopen the restaurant on the Belgian coast till the end of the year.
Those who have reservations till the end of the year will be able to get a reservation in January, February or March. Vouchers that expire in 2020 will also be automatically extended. The Boutique called Boutique Raphael will remain open until 20 December. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 7 pm, customers can buy local produce, vegetables, delicious homemade food such as shrimp croquettes, his famous bisque, wild smoked fish and a range of pate’s.
Using his wood fire oven, Willem also makes sourdough bread, raisin bread, pizza, kebabs (Hiele style) and much more. Reservations for pizza and game can be made directly via email.
Willem Hiele will also be preparing Christmas boxes this year. “Christmas is going to look different this year but it will be no less culinary. We are introducing our boxes specially for Christmas. These can be ordered via the website as from next week. Reservations can be made until 20 December at 9pm for pick up on 24 December between 10am and 5pm.
Day trippers who visit the Belgian coast on that day will also be able to pick up their box. “We want to keep everything fresh so we will not work with delivery to the home or pickup points. But those who live further away and what to combine a visit to our boutique with a visit to the seaside can enjoy a little trip and we have a sustainable gift ready,” said Willem.
