3 Michelin-starred Thomas Keller’s top-segment restaurant, the TAK Room, is closing permanently.

The TAK Room, opened by the world-famous 3 Michelin star Thomas Keller at Hudson Yards last year, closed its doors. “Given the challenges of the past five months, we could not find an economically viable path to continue operating without expected seasonal, New York tourism and traffic,” Keller said, announcing the closing to guests via mail and on the restaurant’s Instagram account. In addition to TAK Room, Keller also announced that Bouchon Bakery is closing its location in Hudson Yards, but will reopen its Columbus Circle branch with the opening of malls.
