Researchers at Osaka University have reproduced high-quality Japanese Wagyu beef for the first time in the lab, thanks to 3D bioprinting technology. After chops, foie gras, and chicken wings, Wagyu beef, which is considered the most valuable meat, was also produced as 3D printing.

Scientists have made a breakthrough in growing beef in the laboratory by using bovine stem cells to produce a meat alternative that is very similar to traditional meat. Meats produced using modern technology in the laboratory focused on types of meat that could be produced relatively easily, but this time, Osaka University researchers wanted to try themselves with Wagyu meat, which meat lovers consider one of the best types of beef. The researchers provided a realistic reconstruction of this meat, complete with muscle fibers, fat, and blood vessels.
