“Taste of the Island”, “The World’s Longest Food Festival”, will last for 12 weeks and will offer around 700 food and beverages by November 30th.
Participants in the festival will have the chance to taste and experience different dishes from all over Ireland. “The World’s Longest Food Festival” is an event organized by Failte, part of the Irish tourism board. Ireland, which has rediscovered its culinary identity in recent years, will prepare dishes that can be prepared with the best and freshest ingredients anywhere in the world.
The festival will be one of the most important days of harvest, officially pioneered by Food On The Edge, on October 21st and 22nd in Galway, where fresh and seasonal produce is the most abundant.
