The World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards, which were held every year since 2002 and were shown as an alternative to the Michelin awards, were presented to the winners yesterday evening.

The World’s 50 Best Restaurants Awards, organized in Singapore this year, was named the best restaurants of 2019. The three Michelin-starred restaurant Mirazur, located in Menton, France, was named the best restaurant in the world and Europe at the ceremony sponsored by San Pellegrino. Thus 18 years later, for the first time, a French restaurant topped this list. Mirazur, owned by Argentine chef Mauro Colagreco, entered the list in fourth place in 2017 and third in 2018.

Recently announced the list of 51-120 The Wold’s 50 Best Restaurants, last night more than a thousand experts determined the list of the first 50 restaurants jury. Spain entered the top 10 with 3 restaurants; Two restaurants from France, Denmark and Peru were on the list.
