The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, which rewards the best restaurants in the world, announced the city where it will be held the award ceremony in 2022. The ceremony will take place in July 2022 in Moscow, the capital of Russia.

The award ceremony, which has been held online since 2019 due to the pandemic, was held in person for the first time this year. The World’s 50 Best Restaurants content director William Drew said, “With the international restaurant scene gathering pace once again, we are thrilled to announce Moscow as the host destination of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2022 this coming July. Following the successful return of our live awards program in 2021, we have no doubt that the 2022 event program will allow the global gastronomic community to reconnect once more in person and celebrate the indomitable spirit of the hospitality sector on an even greater scale.”

Moscow proved how assertive it is in the world of gastronomy with the stars it received in the 2022 Michelin Guide. Before the award ceremony is to be held in July, 50BestTalks and Chef’s Feast events will be held. The exact location of the ceremony has not been announced yet.
