In London, the Danish dining sensation, Jordnær, surprised an entire world culinary community, as the restaurant went from not even being amongst the Top 51-100 and straight into the holy halls of The World’s 50 Best Restaurant List with a remarkable first ranking as No. 38 at the international culinary Oscars.
Chef Eric Vildgaard states:
“Love conquers all! Less than 5 years ago we sold Tina’s diamond ring and watch to be able to buy plates and glassware for ours then very humble dining room. Today we have been blessed with this recognition. It’s surreal and so very wonderful. Congratulations to everyone who has been a part of our young restaurant’s incredible journey. You all have a share in this. And a deep felt thank you to all who have voted for us. No. 38!! Incredible! Unbelievable! Yes!”
