Under the leadership of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, in cooperation with Gaziantep Development Foundation (GAGEV), the content organization of GastroAntep International Gaziantep Gastronomy Festival, which was developed by Sözen Organization and developed with a sustainable strategy, was held today at Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus Hotel.

The opening speech of the meeting which was followed with great interest by the press was made by Sözen Organization General Manager Gökmen Sözen. Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin, who shared the introductory presentation of GastroAntep which will be realized for the second time this year, made the following statements: I want to thank everyone who was here today, who didn’t break our invitation. This is an Anatolian development. We are here to tell you what our goals are through a city. After long efforts, we entered UNESCO.

And we have begun to introduce our products to the world and continue with the International GastroAntep Festival. We took the geographical mark of our nineteen products and reached a total of fifty products. We do teamwork and provide coordination among ourselves. Each of our products has individual features and benefits. We will have ’Local Chef’ competition at the festival which will be held on September 11-15, compared to last year. Hotels located in different parts of the world will compete with each other using Gaziantep products.

In addition, the meeting; Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce Parliament Speaker M. Hilmi Teymur, Gaziantep Şehitkamil Mayor Rıdvan Fadıloğlu, Gaziantep Deputy Mehmet Sait Kirazoğlu, Gaziantep Deputy Derya Bakbak, Gaziantep Deputy Ahmet Uzer, Gaziantep Governor Davut Gül, Gaziantep Mayor Fatma Şahin, Gaziantep Deputy Abdullah Nejat Koçer , Gaziantep Deputy Muhittin Taşdoğan, TIM President İsmail Gülle, Gaziantep Chamber of Industry Chairman Adnan Ünverdi and GAIB Coordinator Chairman A. Fikret Kileci also attended.
