The Michelin Guide has announced that its print guide for 2021 has been delayed but they will present it in a digital format with “Digital First.”
The Michelin Guide will continue to honour chefs with 2021 stars despite the coronavirus outbreak. The Michelin Guide, which will announce 2021 stars through digital media with “Digital First ” plans, remarked that printed guide for 2021 will be delayed. According to the news on Eater London, Gwendal Poullennec, International Guide Director, said: “To be as efficient as possible in our mission to reconnect diners with your restaurants when reopening, as well as to achieve consistent and fair 2021 selections, we will make the most of our websites and digital facilities. Therefore, a Digital First strategy and an unprecedented commitment by our inspectors. Don’t worry, a Michelin Star, and all our award distinctions, will mean the same in 2021 as they always have.”
