Renowned Scottish chef Mark Greenaway is coming to London next year with his new fine dining restaurant project.
Successful chef Greenaway, who heads Grazing by Mark Greenaway in Edinburgh, which is on the UK’s Top 100 Restaurants list, is coming to London, the capital of England, with the new fine dining restaurant project set to open March 2021. The as yet unnamed venue will welcome guests in the evening with a tasting menu and 30 covers. Describing the new venture, the successful chef says, “Thirty covers is a nice introduction to London for me. It’s something that’s manageable and that I can focus on and get it right. We want to do it properly, nice and small and make it special.”
The successful chef will bring some of his signature flavours, such as crab cannelloni with smoked cauliflower custard from Grazing by Mark Greenaway to his new restaurant, according to reports at Big Hospitality UK. “I’ll be using Scottish produce although it’s not a Scottish restaurant, it’s only because it’s what I know,” said Greenaway, who made some changes to Grazing by Mark Greenaway with the effect of the coronavirus epidemic, moving away from the sharing plate format to offering an eight-course tasting menü alongside a 5/5/5 a la carte offer.
