Zuccardi Valle de Uco

Quinta do Crasto

Located on the Right Bank of the Douro River in Portugal, between Régua and Pinhão, Quinta do Crasto offers its visitors a variety of dining and wine tasting activities. In 1981, with Fernando de Almeida’s daughter Leonor Roquette and her husband Jorge Roquette taking over the property, with the support of their sons Miguel and Tomás and daughter Rita, they began the process of making it one of the major family estates of the Douro region. The first references to Quinta do Crasto date back to 1615 before the Douro became the first wine region bordered in 1756.
