The event, only for professionals related with culinary or hospitality industry, will include tastings and demonstrations. Following the success of the first edition, Spain Fusion event is back in Texas starting on May 15 in Houston. This event, organized by Vocento Gastronomía and Foods and Wines from Spain, includes tastings and meetings with Spain’s top exporters of wine, AOVEs, cheese, jamón ibérico, and many more activities related with Spanish Gastronomy.
The events are happening on different hotels on May 15 in Houston, May 17 in Dallas, May 19 in San Antonio, and May 22 in Austin. The daily activities will take place from 12pm to 6pm and will be followed by a “Spain Night Out” event from 7pm to 10pm in each cities respective hotel. Queen Sofía from Spain will attend the opening day of this food event.
Wines, AOVEs, Spanish ibéricos, preserved food, cheeses, generosos and vinegars from Jerez will be the true stars of this event, with a team of speakers that brings together experts who travel from Spain and chefs and that are highly recognized in USA.
Among the participants for this year’s Spain Fusion are Chef Danny Lledó from Washington D.C.’s Michelin-starred restaurant, Xiquet; Chef Mat Schuster from San Francisco’s Canela Bistró; and Chef Periko Ortega from Recomiendo restaurant in Córdoba, Spain. A unique opportunity for attending tastings, panels and to enjoy some of Spain’s finest food and wine.
