The 2020/21 final of the Roux Scholarship competition founded by the legendary British chef Michel Roux and Alain Roux in 1984, is postponed due to the pandemic.
Held by Michelin-starred chefs Michel Roux Jr. and Alain Roux, Roux Scholarship provides its scholars with internship opportunities in Michelin-starred kitchens. On the news of the postponement of the competition final, “The health and welfare of our fantastic participants, as well as all stakeholders and guests, remains our highest priority. With no end to the current limitations in sight and in view of the ongoing uncertainty, postponement is the only safe option. We appreciate everyone’s brilliant support as we work through this. We cannot wait to find our 2020/21 scholar” said chairman Alain Roux
The new date for the final scheduled to be held on March 2021 is currently unknown.
