Copenhagen’s most creative restaurant, Alchemist, reopened its doors today after being closed for eight months due to coronavirus. Chef Rasmus Munk’s restaurant has been redesigned as Alchemist Reloaded, with dishes featuring ant cheese, pig blood and raw jellyfish appearances.
Munk said the following words for his new menu: “We have a long list of dishes that are going on the menu in portions during these first three months of opening. These first five dishes are centred around diverse subjects like social monitoring, invasive species, blood donation, mycelium networks, and lastly our ant dessert that involves a very special technique.”
