Michelin Guide Netherlands 2022 selection has been announced. The list, announced at the ceremony held at the DeLaMar Theater in Amsterdam, includes 520 restaurants with 117 Michelin stars, 112 Bib Gourmand and 11 Michelin Green Stars award winners.

Three Michelin-starred restaurants in the Netherlands managed to retain the titles of Chef Jonnie Boer’s De Librije and Chef Jannis Brevet’s Inter Scaldes. Ten restaurants received Michelin stars for the first time, while three others increased their star ratings. While no new three-star restaurants were added to the list, the Netherlands’ Michelin Guide performance exceeded 2021.

Speaking at the ceremony, Michelin Guide International Director Gwendal Poullennec said, “The Michelin Guide Netherlands 2022 selection illustrates the refinement and creativity which are the hallmarks of the Dutch gastronomic scene. As a constantly evolving gourmet destination, the Netherlands also stand out for the increasing focus Dutch restaurateurs are placing on sustainable development challenges.”
