The Michelin Guide, which is accepted as the criterion of quality food in the world, has added three more Santa Barbara restaurants to its list. Bibi Ji, Caruso’s and Loquita are under the scrutiny of gastronomy gurus, even though they haven’t earned a star yet.
Bibi Ji, which is listed in the Michelin Guide, offers authentic Indian dishes. Cauliflower with pepper-garlic sauce and crispy sesame seeds draws attention in the menu, where the best of the land and sea meet. Loquita stands out with its hearty paellas, and is very popular with its carpaccio with mustard pickles and vinegar. Caruso’s, on the other hand, has a concept that combines Italian food with contemporary California style. Chilled pea soup with pickled fennel is just one of its rich starters.
