Mark Poynton, formerly head chef of Daniel Clifford’s two-Michelin-starred Midsummer House in Cambridge, will open his own restaurant within the Caistor Hall by Brasteds hotel in Norfolk. Mark Poynton at Caistor Hall is expected to open in February 2023.

Poynton was chief and patron of the Alimentum in Cambridge until 2018. Poynton, who won a Michelin star in 2012 at the restaurant he joined in 2009, had this star until 2018.
