Gordon Ramsay will be joined by Kamarl John at Homestead, London, Mayfair in early 2022. Kamarl gained a reputation as a rising star of the culinary world, working closely with leading Michelin-starred chefs such as Wolfgang Puck, David Myers, and as head chef of Ramsay himself.

Having worked at iconic venues such as Claridge’s in London and the Four Seasons in Singapore, Kamarl will now bring his creativity and craft to The Homestead, where he will oversee incredible culinary experiences in the ultra-luxury lodge. Its menu will put organic, locally sourced produce at its center, showcasing the best of Africa.

Hailing from London, Kamarl has more than 15 years of experience in the world’s leading restaurants and hotels. Before working as Gordon Ramsay’s head chef in London, Kamarl was Head Chef at the Four Seasons in Singapore, overseeing four food and beverage outlets. Previously, he was Executive Sous Chef at Marina Bay Sands Singapore under the management of renowned Michelin-starred chef David Myers. In the early years of his career, Kamarl has worked at iconic London institutions from Claridge’s, Sketch, Four Seasons, 10 Trinity Square and CUT at 45 Park Lane.
