Kayto, the bustling Japanese-Peruvian spot at Jumeirah Al Naseem, has a new menu. From Argentinian chef Christian Goya, Kayto offers Nikkei cuisine, served in a bright space with views of the hotel’s pools. As summer 2023 approaches, the restaurant has revamped its menu, with a host of new dishes on offer.
The sushi section of the menu now has a king crab and cured salmon with caviar roll, as well as Hokkaido scallops with caviar nigiri. There’s also the Kayto Sashimi Collection, featuring yellowtail, salmon, sea bass, chutoro, and bluefin tuna, while the Kayto Nigiri Collection includes tuna truffle, sea bass miso, yellowtail, chutoro, Hokkaido scallops and caviar options.
New mains include a play on the classic chirashito salad, a refreshing combination of fish and vegetables with Yukke sauce. Also on the menu is seafood parihuela in a shansho bisque, a combination of flavours and ingredients that are uniquely Peruvian.
The revamped dessert menu includes banoffee hot cookies and ispahan vacherin, combining raspberry sorbet, rose water chantilly and lychee marmalade. Kayto offers a four-course set menu at lunchtimes for AED135 per person, apart from Saturdays when the brunch-style lazy lunch takes place. It is also open for dinner, daily.
