José Andrés, who has appreciated his humanitarian works as well as his chef talent, announced his next dream project. The successful chef is starting a media company where he will tell his cooking stories: José Andrés Media.
Sharing his excitement about his new project, Andrés said, “It’s been my dream to launch José Andrés Media for many years — to tell stories about who we are through the food we eat. Our food content will be as creative, fun, inspiring, and authentic as our restaurants. I can’t wait to get started.” The new company will produce stories about food, TV series focusing on food culture, books, podcasts, and digital content.
José Andrés, the founder of World Central Kitchen, which works to feed people in disaster areas, knows very well the power of food and its impact on connecting communities. “We need longer tables, not higher walls. Our media work will fill those tables with the dishes that help us understand each other, across the world and the generations. Food is so much more than just a plate of ingredients” said Andrés, aiming to reach larger audiences.
