Panera Bread said Monday it has joined forces with José Andrés, the chef, restaurateur, and founder of World Central Kitchen, to combat food insecurity. Fast-casual restaurant chain Panera Bread will donate up to $ 100,000 to World Central Kitchen for each full-size sandwich purchased until March 31st.

“I am grateful to have support from Panera Bread as World Central Kitchen works nationwide to feed those that are hungry,” said Andrés in a statement. “One plate at a time, one sandwich at a time, we can improve and change the world.”
