America Eats Tavern, one of ThinkFoodGroup’s restaurants owned by José Andrés, announced the permanent closure.

To the restaurants which are the James Beard award winner Spike Gjerde’s A Rake’s Progress that catered to the top segment, Wolfgang Puck’s The Source and David Chang’s Momofuku CCDC were closed in Washington D.C., José Andrés’ America Eats Tavern was added. America Eats Tavern was one of several ThinkFoodGroup restaurants to adopt a community kitchen format geared toward providing affordable — and in some cases free — takeout meals.
