The kitchen of Plaza Athénée, a famous Parisian palace, will now be led by Chef Jean Imbert. The winner of the Top Chef competition in 2012, Imbert will replace world-renowned chef Alain Ducasse.

The Dorchester Group, the operator of nine luxury hotels owned by the Brunei investment agency, announced in May that their partnership with Alain Ducasse, who has worked at the three-Michelin-starred Plaza Athénée for 20 years, has ended. Imbert was selected by Dorchester member Hotel Plaza Athénée to take over from Alain Ducasse as head of the entire hotel’s kitchen.
