Italian chef Massimo Bottura shared video how Peru became a world leader in gastronomy. The chef Massimo Bottura, owner of the Osteria Francescana restaurant, compares Peruvian food to the success of Italian, Japanese and American cuisine in the world.

He added that the world has discovered the Peruvian culture and reality, and the importance of local farmers, fishermen, cheese producers, chefs and indigenous people in the Peruvian cuisine. Michelin starred Peruvian chefs Gastón Acurio and Virgilio Martinez played a major role in the recognition of food in their country.

The famous chef Massimo Bottura added that true Peruvian cuisine can be recognized by the right campaigns and efforts.
