InterContinental Dhaka hosted the “Indian Food Festival”, where spices from India are celebrated. The food festival highlighted authentic local delicacies from all across India, in order to emphasize the unique flavours of the Indian cuisine.
Authentic dishes such as Andhra fish curry, Kerla style beef curry, methi murgh, Mangalorean Prawn Curry, and Hydrabadi Biryani, among others, were prepared at the festival. The food festival ran from March 29 to April 3, and was inaugurated by HE Vikram K Doraiswami, high commissioner of India to Bangladesh along with Kevin Wallace, general manager of InterContinental Dhaka and other high officials from both of the organizations.
