International Hilton Hotels will work with Lysol cleaning brand and Mayo Clinic to bring new standards to cleaning after coronavirus. The Hilton Group, which will start to apply new hotel cleaning standards in early June, aims to work globally with the “Hilton CleanStay with Lysol Protection” Program.
Hilton Hotels, the big major hotel brand, began to work to guarantee the hygienic environment to its customers after coronavirus. The global program “Hilton CleanStay with Lysol Protection”, which will work with Reckitt Benckiser’s Lysol brand and under the consultancy of Mayo Clinic, will be launched at Hilton hotels in June. “A couple things we’ve found recently is that 71 percent of consumers globally are actively cleaning more themselves, whether in their home or as part of their daily routine,” Hilton Senior Vice President and Global Head of New Brand Development Phil Cordell said. Hilton started meetings with Lysol and Mayo Clinic 3 weeks ago and took serious steps in this subject. Lysol products will be used throughout North America, while Mayo Clinic will provide new cleaning procedures and provide training. A CleanStay seal will be placed on the doors of the rooms which cleaned by the housekeeping staff, including door handles and light switches. Hilton is also planning to work with contactless check-in and digital room keys while increasing cleanliness of public areas.
