The “10 Coolest Places to Eat” list has been updated by tradition. For this year’s list, Forbes writer Ann Abel is accompanied by the award-winning producer of the documentary Michelin Stars: Tales From the Kitchen, Kristian Brask Thomsen, gourmet known for visiting all three Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, Gerhard Huber, and Marco Invernizzi, a plant design consultant and designer.

“In a year that surprises, simple pleasures and heartfelt hospitality mattered more than ever” writes Ann Abel and adds that this list consists of restaurants with delicious food and enjoyable environment, not of Michelin-starred restaurants or those that made the World’s 50 Best list.
