Food on the Edge is a two-day symposium held annually in Ireland. Authors, chefs, and activists, including food educators, gather at Food on the Edge to listen, talk, and discuss the future of food in our industry and on our planet.

The premier foodservice symposium, sponsored by S.Pellegrino, returns after a postpone due to the pandemic. It will be held on Monday, October 17, and Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at the Airfield Estate in Dublin. The themes of this year’s symposium are Disruption and Regeneration, which is sure to spark many interesting discussions, such as the current challenges of inflation, supply chain issues, and human resource issues in the industry.

Danish chef Rasmus Munk of Alchemist in Copenhagen will be one of the keynote speakers. Calum Franklin, known as the ‘King of Pies’ who runs the popular The Pie Room at Holborn Dining Room in London, and Søren Ørbek Ledet, co-owner and sommelier of three-Michelin-starred restaurant Geranium, will also participate. Food on the Edge is making an impressive return with names like food educator Alice Zaslavsky, Jess Murphy of Kai Galway, social gastronomy disruptor Joshna Maharaj, and food and cities thought leader Carolyn Steel.

Simon Rogan of L’Enclume will make his debut at Food On The Edge, while Matt Orlando of Copenhagen’s Amass will also return.

Tickets can be purchased at www.foodontheedge.ie. The deadline for 2-day tickets is June 30.
