Founder and chef of 2 Michelin starred TURK Fatih Tutak, Fatih Tutak received his professional training at Bolu Mengen Cooking School. Discovering innovative culinary culture with Paul Pairet, Tutak gained experience in various kitchens in Beijing, Tokyo, Singapore, Copenhagen, Hong Kong and Bangkok.
In Copenhagen, he worked with Rene Redzepi at Noma, voted the best restaurant in the world many times by San Pellegrino-Acqua Panna The World 50 Best Restaurants; in Tokyo, he worked with Chef Seiji Yamamoto at Nihonryori Ryugin, the most famous representative of modern Japanese cuisine with 3 Michelin stars.
The Dining Room at The House of Sathorn, where he was the culinary director, made both the San Pellegrino-Acqua Panna The Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2017-2018 list and the Michelin Guide 2018-2019 list. Returning to Turkey in 2019, Tutak opened TURK Fatih Tutak the same year. He won 2 Michelin stars in the Michelin Guide Istanbul 2022 selection and continues to maintain it. Tutak was also named ‘Chef of the Year’ in the Gault&Millau 2024 Türkiye Guide, while TURK Fatih Tutak was awarded 4 Toques.
