Eric Vildgaard, who has experience in some of Denmark’s best restaurants such as Noma, Sollerod Pro and Almanak, is founding Restaurant Jordnær with his wife Tina.
Although the name “Jordnær” means “down to earth”, Vildgaard’s dishes raise the level of gastronomy. Eric Vildgaard offers a sustainable cuisine serving in the charming dining room of the three-star Gentofte Hotel.
Restaurant Jordnær has two Michelin stars and has also been awarded “The Michelin Nordic Countries Welcome & Service Award”. In 2022, it was ranked 38th in The World’s 50 Best Restaurant List.
