Founded by chef Dan Kenny, who took over the food and beverage operations of the Artist Residence hotel in 2018, and chef Semone Bonner in 2015, The Set will close down in March 2021.

Following the earlier closure of the cocktail bar The Fix in the Artist Residence, Dan Kenny announced on his official Instagram account that the Michelin Bib Gourmand receiver restaurant The Set will also close its doors in the first half of the next year. “After almost six years residing and working alongside Artist Residence this chapter is coming to an end. We will be leaving our residence at the hotel on 31 March 2021. We want to close the chapter by putting out the best food we have ever cooked, so please do book in to come and say goodbye with a final meal with us” said Kenny.

Stating that The Set could change its address with the new year, chef Dan Kenny added that he will leave his position at the Artist Residence after the closure of The Fix and The Set.
