World-renowned Romanian chef Adi Hadean’s humanitarian campaign Solidar Social that provides food aid to those in need in Bucharest, is chosen as the Social Responsibility Campaign of the Year in Horeca Awards 2020. The project has provided around 150,000 meals to healthcare workers and people battling with hunger since April.

“We are working to develop the programme further and orovide meal delivery and to establish social canteens all over the country now. We are trying to collaborate with local authorities and now we are reaching out to different NGOs that have connected activities.” says chef Hadean. His project Solidar Social runs with the help of volunteer workers, sponsors and donations.
