Chef Adam Handling is to open a new outlet of his sustainable restaurant brand, Ugly Butterfly, this August at Carbis Bay Estate in Cornwall. The 65-person capacity restaurant will offer its customers an all-day dining experience using ingredients sourced from Cornwall and its surroundings.
Handling has appointed Jamie Park, formerly head chef of Frog by Adam Handling Covent Garden, to oversee the new Ugly Butterfly kitchen. “Jamie is hugely passionate about sustainability, in all forms, and this is the perfect place for him to explore every possibility to create great food, whilst getting us closer to our ultimate goal of 100% zero food waste,” adds Handling.
