Chef Margot Janse has been nominated several times as the best chef in South Africa for her work in the gastronomic cuisines of the French Quarterand Tasting Room. She was the first woman to enter the international World’s 50 Best Restaurants list.

The successful chef continues to feed 1,500 children, every school day for 10 years with the through her association “Isabelo-Feeding Hungry Minds”.

On February 16, 25 international chefs, including May Chow, Mauro Colagreco, Rodolfo Guzmán, Pía León, Virgilio Martínez, Alain Passard, Ana Roš and Heinz Reitbauer, getting together for supporting the Isabelo-Feeding Hungry Minds project. Together they will prepare a unique dinner program from South African cuisine, taking over the kitchen of 4 different restaurants. All the income collected from the special night will be donated to the “Isabelo-Feeding Hungry Minds” program.
