East London bakery chain Percy Ingle is closing down after 66 years due to coronavirus.
Percy Ingle, the bakery chain that has long served its customers in London and Essex with its local flavours, had a total of 48 branches. Last year, the chain, which went into modernization in its 65th anniversary, was an example of its sharp handling of gender-based wage inequality and a sense of responsibility to the environment. The chain confirmed all branches would close but did not make any statement, Newham Recorder reported.
