A general manager who has worked with celebrity chefs in Michelin star restaurants has joined a Suffolk establishment.

George Bonwick, 28, has joined The Bildeston Crown Hotel in Bildeston, near Stowmarket, after a career working with chefs like Tom Kerridge and leading the team at The Crown at Burchetts Green to a Michelin star in 2019.

A year later, Mr Bonwick then went on to win the prestigious Michelin Service award and he is now looking forward to this next chapter.

He said: “I’m delighted to be working alongside our incredibly talented chefs at The Bildeston Crown, which has been owned by the Buckle family for more than 20 years.
