Three months after its opening in Rovinj, Croatia, Agli Amici Rovigno was awarded a Michelin star. The restaurant, which was announced to have received one star in the new Croatia edition of the Michelin guide, which was announced recently, received its first star after its official opening on 22 June.
Agli Amici Rovigno, who was awarded a Michelin star, is among the reasons why he won the star because he ‘takes nothing lightly and is always looking for new ideas to develop the best ingredients of the region’. Emanuele Scarello, owner and chef of Agli Amici Rovigno, said: “Of course we are very happy, we scored right away! In any case, starting with Lorenzo Lai, our assistant chef in Rovinj, who has done a monstrous job here and gave him character, soul, quality, everything. We must not forget that it is the result of a great team that gave.”
