Chef, anthropologist and cultural observer Andrew Wong was born and raised in London and preserves his Chinese heritage. Andrew, who has been in the restaurant world since his childhood, received culinary training after studying chemistry and anthropology.
Wong, who studied the 3000-year history of Chinese culture, created his cooking approach with the inspiration he received. The experienced chef, who opened A.Wong with his wife Nathalie in 2012, pays tribute to his family with the letter A.
Andrew, who has 2 Michelin Stars with A. Wong, also works as a research assistant at the Food Research Center of the School of Oriental and African Studies in London.
