The first Danish restaurant to reach number one on the prestigious list of Opinionated About Dining Europe last year, Alchemist repeated its success this year. Chef Rasmus Munk, the owner of Alchemist, which was at the top of the Top 100 list published by Opinionated About Dining founder Steven Plotnicki last night, said in a statement, “I am overwhelmed by the news that we are on top of the list again this year. There are so many fantastic restaurants in Europe, and this recognition really means a lot to both me and the whole team.”

Danish restaurants such as Geranium, Kadeau, Noma ace, Jordnær, Kadeau Bornholm, AOC and Studio were included in the list, which was determined by more than 6,000 voters.

Alchemist received two stars from the Michelin Guide in February 2020. It was also named Denmark’s Best Restaurant by the White Guide in 2020 and 2021.
