Former director of World’s 50 Best, a prestigious list determining the 50 best restaurants and bars in the world every year powered by S. Pellegrino, Hélène Pietrini will continue her good work as the managing director of La Liste in 2021.
Published for the first time in 2015, French company La Liste names 1000 of the world’s best restaurants and is one of the most important indicators of the gastronomy world with its team of experts. Around 600 local guides from selected cities are given a trustworthiness point between 0 and 10. The restaurants chosen from the guides by La Liste team and advisor chefs are given a point between 0 and 100. Both of these grades are taken into account along with online customer comments, which are evaluated by a special algorithm. With its multi-factor objective grading system, La Liste is known as the world’s first algorithm-based culinary review aggregator.
Hélène Pietrini will take on the role of managing director of La Liste, the ranking system that lists 1000 of the world’s best restaurants with the motto “Transparency, integrity, universality”, starting in 2021. “La Liste for me is an entrepreneurial project. Its application and unique database of more than 25,000 restaurants in 200 countries are unique assets for the future, making it the world’s leading guide. In 2021, my mission will be to position La Liste as a relaunch partner supporting the reopening of the restaurants” said Pietrini.
