Chef Daniel Humm of New York’s 3 Michelin-starred restaurant Eleven Madison Park brings his kitchen to food lovers’ homes with his EMP roast chicken box.
The iconic restaurant recently reopened to indoor dining after months cooking for those in need during the coronavirus crisis. A commitment to helping the community remains a focus at Eleven Madison Park, which will donate 10 meals to food-insecure New Yorkers for every meal kit purchased, as part of the team’s ongoing partnership with Rethink Food, which Humm co-founded and whose mission is to create a more sustainable and equitable food system in America.
For a limited run, New Yorkers can order the Chef’s Roast Chicken Dinner and collect it in New York and designated locations throughout the tri-state region. Available for pick-up at a price of $275, it serves 2-4 people, and consists of a seasoned and stuffed Green Circle chicken prepped with brioche stuffing, foie gras and black truffles in the style of Humm’s own family recipe, alongside detailed instructions on how to roast the bird perfectly. Sides such as butternut squash baked with seaweed and brown butter, and potato gratin with parmesan and gruyere accompany the roast chicken, as well as a dessert such as apple tart. The dinner set also comes with EMP’s granola for the next morning.
