In 2003, Ago Perrone moved to London from his native Lake Como and has been at the helm of The Connaught Bar since 2008. Internationally acclaimed for his unique approach to hospitality and mixology, Perrone offers guests a highly personalized experience. Perrone’s contribution to the sector has also been recognized by authorities and has brought a number of awards such as World’s Best Bartender at Tales of the Cocktail 2010, Best European Mixologist at the Mixology Bar Awards 2017, 2017 Imbibe Bar Personality of the Year, and Industry Icon at the World’s 50 Best Bars 2022.

Connaught Bar also topped the World’s 50 Best bars 2020 and 2021 lists. The venue was also in the top 10 between 2009 and 2022.
