Born in Madrid, Dabiz Muñoz gained fame as a pioneer and creative adventurer. His passion
for cooking developed when Dabiz Muñoz’s family took him to Abraham Garcia’s restaurant
Viridiana in Madrid as a child. Abraham Garcia’s cooking style reflects his interest in travel,
literature and art, and David was influenced by his approach. This childhood interest led him
to attend catering college where he began his academic education.
Muñoz, who worked in the city’s best restaurants such as Nobu during the several years he
spent in London, decided to open his own restaurant, DiverXO, when he returned to Madrid.
The dishes they produce; It offers a wide combination from Eastern cuisine to Scandinavian
fusion, Spanish tradition and Asian flavors and presentation. Offering equally surprising and
inspiring dishes, Muñoz offers its guests a creative gastronomic experience.
