Nicoló Cereghini’s early career starts with studying wine in Italy where I got his Diploma from AIS (Italian Sommelier.) Then he attended WSET after moving to London in 2018. He firmly felt that since he was a child, wine has played a significant role in his life. Working with his grandfather to tread grapes to make a festive red table wine for family and friends is one of Cereghini’s warmest memories. He was born in Lake Como, and his family runs a small hospitality enterprise in the countryside. From a very young age Nicole Cereghini has always assisted his family in making coffee or pouring wine for the neighborhood visitors. After finishing his studies, he began working at a local fine dining restaurant in the where thanks to the entire staff, he realized that wine would eventually become a part of his life. He felt the urge to expand my knowledge of wines from around the world after working as a sommelier in Italy for a few years. For this reason. he thought that London would be the ideal location to gain expertise with a global wine list. Truly his first experience in London was an internship of three months at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hyde Park in 2015, where he had the pleasure to work together with a MS. Later, in 2018, he had the opportunity to join the Connaught Hotel team.
