The best and brightest in Asia’s bar scene will descend on Hong Kong later this month to celebrate the achievements of the drinks industry at the first full-scale gathering of the continent’s bar community since 2019. The reveal of Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2023, which will take place in the Grand Ballroom of Rosewood Hong Kong, will unveil a brand-new list of cocktail establishments deemed the best in the continent, descending from the bar ranked No.50, down to the coveted No.1 position. One week before the reveal of the main ranking of Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2023, the extended list of venues ranked between 51st and 100th will be unveiled in a worldwide digital premiere on the 50 Best Bars YouTube channel. Tune into the online countdown from the video above.

The atmosphere inside the Grand Ballroom of Rosewood Hong Kong will be electric as Asia’s best bartenders and industry titans assemble to find out who will be taking home the title of The Best Bar in Asia 2023, sponsored by Perrier. Alongside the countdown revealing the list, a number of special award winners will also be named, such as the Siete Misterios Best Cocktail Menu, London Essence Best New Opening and Roku Industry Icon, among others.

Live interviews: Meet the No.1 and press conference

In the moments following the reveal of the No.1, the team behind the newly-crowned bar will take part in an exclusive live interview hosted on the 50 Best Bars Instagram account. Once they have shared their initial reaction to their coronation as Asia’s finest cocktail establishment, they will move to the official press conference, which will be livestreamed on the 50 Best Bars YouTube channel. Here, the leading bar team, alongside other special award winners, will answer questions from the media and further elaborate on their new accolades.

Monday 17th July
The first full-scale reunion of Asia’s bar community since the shackles of the pandemic have been removed will take place the day before the awards ceremony at the Four Seasons Hong Kong.
