Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen will open at Foxwoods Resort Casino on July 15. The casino announced in March that the restaurant was coming, and a July 5 press release confirmed that it’s accepting reservations for the opening date and beyond.
According to that press release, the restaurant is inspired by the “Hell’s Kitchen” TV series, combining the action of an open kitchen with an upscale dining room that draws design inspiration from the show.
Ramsay’s signature dishes — beef Wellington and sticky toffee pudding — are on the menu, as well as steaks, seafood, salads and sides. A lunch menu also includes pizza, sandwiches and burgers. Hell’s Kitchen also has a vegetarian menu, with vegan options.
A long wine list and a selection of house cocktails like “notes from Gordon,” and mocktails round out the menu.
This is Ramsay’s sixth Hell’s Kitchen location, with others in Atlantic City, Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas, southern California and Washington D.C. Las Vegas, which opened in 2018, was the first outpost.
The restaurant, which seats 260 people, is in Foxwoods’ Grand Pequot tower. It is the casino’s 40th food option, with others including casual dining like Dunkin’, Wingstop and Subway, as well as fellow TV star Guy Fieri’s Foxwoods Kitchen + Bar.
The TV series “Hell’s Kitchen,” has been on for 21 seasons, nominated for three Primetime Emmy Awards and featured some Connecticut talent. Kevin Cottle, who’s the executive chef of Fire at the Ridge in Middlefield, competed in season 6. Morgana Vesey, executive chef at Stonington’s Water Street Cafe, was on season 20 of the spinoff “Hell’s Kitchen Young Guns.”
