Grégoire Berger’s collaborations at Ossiano continue with a four-hands dinner with one of Copenhagen’s most exciting chefs, Eric Vildgaard of Jordnær. There will be a 10-course menu crafted by the pair, available at Ossiano, Atlantis, The Palm for two nights only. Taking place on Sunday May 28 and Monday May 29, the menu will focus on seasonality, terroir and artisanal produce. The collaboration will comprise Berger’s dishes that tell the story of his travels around the world, alongside Vildgaard’s intricate and elegantly crafted courses. The tasting menu, called Rødder, will include dry-aged duck, smoked leek, and foie gras from Berger, while Vildgaard’s dishes include of Freya scallop, white asparagus and Limfjord lobster.
Vildgaard is the co-owner of Jordnær, which is nestled inside a three-starred hotel in the suburbs of Copenhagen. The name Jordnær translates as “down to earth”.
Running the restaurant alongside his wife Tina, Vildgaard creates a unique atmosphere and a dining experience that is full of passion. Featuring elegantly crafted dishes, the menu is Nordic and sustainable, with freshly caught fish from Lake Arreso nearby.
Ossiano was crowned restaurant of the year at Gault&Millau UAE’s 2023 Gala and guide release. It is one of only two restaurants to receive four toques and is the most highly rated venue in the guide, scoring 17.5 out of 20.
