Akira Back
Akira Back is a Korean-American chef and restaurateur who is widely known for his fusion cuisine that blends traditional Korean ingredients with contemporary culinary techniques. He has over 20 years of experience in the culinary industry and has worked in some of the world’s most prestigious restaurants. Back has received numerous accolades for his innovative and delicious cuisine, and is considered one of the leading figures in the Asian culinary scene. He is the founder of several successful restaurants and has also appeared on a number of cooking shows and culinary events.
Today he has restaurants in Bangkok, Dallas, Delray Beach, Dubai, Doha, Florence, Hanoi, Paris, Singapore, and Seoul with new venues on the way in London and Istanbul.
Akmal Anuar
Local legend, Akmal Anuar was raised by hawker parents in Singapore. There, he experienced first-hand how challenging the food and drinks business could be. He was determined to get away from it but found himself being drawn back to the kitchen during high school. The rest is history and Anuar has been slinging out real, unpretentious food for over 20 years now. He helped launched 3Fils to popularity, before opening his own venues, Goldfish Yakitori and 11 Woodfire.
Born and raised in Singapore, chef Ali Shiddique Samsi started his career working at a Spanish tapas bar in central Singapore. He moved to Dubai and started working with Jumeirah Group. He also worked on opening 11 Woodfire in Dubai before joining LOWE.
Andrew Dickens
Andrew Dickens is a BBQ & outdoor cooking expert, presenter, demonstration chef, actor and speaker. He also runs the Riverside BBQ School, one of the most successful BBQ schools in the UK. Dickens is hosting the Waterfront Market BBQ School as he loves teaching people the techniques of outdoor cooking and BBQ.
Massimo Bottura
Massimo Bottura is an Italian chef and restaurateur who is best known for his restaurant, Osteria Francescana in Modena, Italy. He is considered one of the world’s leading innovators in contemporary cuisine and has been praised for his ability to create bold and innovative dishes that challenge traditional Italian cooking. In addition to his culinary skills, Bottura is also known for his humanitarian work, using food to bring attention to social issues.
